Rankomat is Poland’s leading insurance comparison platform, helping over 2 million customers since 2008 find the best insurance offers for cars, homes, apartments, travel, and life insurance. The company also enables users to compare financial products through Rankomat Finanse and telecommunications services via Komórkomat.

The Challenge

Rankomat faced a critical challenge in increasing the number and quality of acquired leads while maintaining acceptable acquisition costs, requiring precise data management. Additionally, the need to comply with GDPR regulations created an extra hurdle, as maintaining high-quality data collection was essential for effective marketing campaigns.

At the same time, discrepancies between marketing tools' data and real-world performance made strategic decision-making difficult. The situation was further complicated by the lack of detailed reporting and limited audience segmentation capabilities in Google Analytics 4, making campaign optimization a complex task that required a comprehensive approach.

Implemented Solutions

To meet GDPR requirements, we introduced a Consent Management Platform (CMP) with Consent Mode integration, ensuring legally compliant data collection without compromising data quality or quantity. This allowed users to control data-sharing preferences while enabling Rankomat to gather detailed insights into customer behavior on its website.

Simultaneously, we implemented advanced solutions such as Enhanced Conversions and Offline Conversions, which allowed data collection independent of cookies. This future-proofed Rankomat against browser restrictions, leading to an increase in conversions and more precise data on signed agreements.

We also deployed and configured Google Analytics 4 across all domains within Rankomat’s group, unlocking new audience segmentation and analysis capabilities. Collecting more granular data improved campaign targeting and marketing effectiveness. These efforts were combined with automated reporting, covering sales performance, marketing results, and competitive analysis. As a result, Rankomat gained a comprehensive view of its operations, providing a solid foundation for more accurate strategic decision-making.
